This New function can automatically detect and define volumes from an FE-Model or CAD Model.
This function is very useful in CFD modeling, where if a user needs to make some closed compartments, by using this function they can get to know how many closed volumes are there in the model.
All the detected volumes are added in separate sets.
Auto DOE function has been added in the File Tab.
The Auto DOE function has the below capabilities-
i) DOE Generation, ii) Designs Generation, iii) Solver Run, iv) Output Sensors
DOE Generation
The function is used to generate the DOE matrix, for the user defined number of Designs from Max & Min range values of the parameters
Design Generation
The Design Generation function is used to generate the number of designs which is specified in the DOE matrix.
Solver Run
The Solver Run function is used to generate the Result file using external solvers like Nastran, Dyna, Abaqus and other solvers from the dashboard directly.
Output Sensors
The Output Sensors function is used to generate output responses as a sensor. Using Design Advisor, when the input parameter value is changed, the model gets deformed. In addition, in real time, the output responses will be computed and displayed on the MeshWorks canvas as shown in the below Design Advisor image.

Existing Function Enhancements
Self-Intersection/Penetration Function
New Intersection/Penetration Check and Fix Function has been added with features.
The Self Intersection/Penetration function can be used to initiate the initial check. A majority of checking and fix tools resides in the penetration tab which is next to the model tree.
Auto Mid Plane Mesh
The execution time of Auto Mid-Plane mesh has been reduced drastically by 50% to 80%
The Option is Rearranged in function.
Advanced Quality Check
Different solver based quality computations are added for each quality parameter
New important quality parameters have also been added like Squish, min height, crash time step etc.
Create washer function
A new option has been added in Create washer function
When Shell remeshing and Node around washer condition is added, the user has more control over the newly created mesh.
FE -Cad association is also added.
Spot Weld function
A New option in Spot weld has been added.
For Nastran templates, the New Spot weld type is added.
The newly added type is ACM71 (Shell Gap) Penta & hexa, which will create a combination of Penta+Hexa spot weld components in between the connecting parts
A new option in adhesive bond has been added
For Nastran solver interface :- RBE3+Penta+RBE3 Adhesive bond type is added, which creates Penta elements in between the connecting parts.
For Abaqus solver interface :- RBE3+Hexa+RBE3 adhesive type is added, which creates Hexa element in between the Connecting parts

Topology parameter enhanced
In topology parameter, only one component can be relocated in the previous MeshWorks versions. In MeshWorks 2021, the Topology parameter is enhanced, whereby multiple master components can be relocated.
In MeshWorks 20/20.1 version, Post Module when trying to import *.odb files. Other than in Abaqus 2019 version, it will update the older version files and then it will load in MeshWorks-POST.
In MeshWorksW21 Version, users can import *.odb files of Abaqus version ranging from 2014 to 2019. It will load automatically without updating the files. MeshWorks Import function will recognize the ODB version and will invoke respective version reader and hence there is no need to upgrade lower version to higher version.

Contour panel now supports Mid Node Result option to Include/Exclude Mid-Node result for higher order elements.
Contour panel now supports the option to Hide/Show Legend in Canvas
Contour panel supports the use of Corner Result Data option for Nastran solver interface.

Multiple Node set Result Extraction is supported in Scorecard Utility

Previously, MeshWorks help would open in an inbuilt Help Viewer. In MeshWorks 2021, MeshWorks Help document opens up in Internet browsers like Internet Explorer, MicroSoftEdge, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Opera.
In the Tutorials section of the help documents, explainer videos have been added.
