This device is ergonomically designed for multiple grasps pattern to replicate the versatility of real human hand. The 3 switches in the back is designed to lock the fingers in closed position. 1st switch from the right is to close the ring and little finger ,2nd switch is used for middle and index finger while 3rd switch is for thumb.The fingers which are not closed can be closed by pulling the string, using this switches multiple types of grasps can be performed.This hand can be used to grasp object of different shapes like spherical,flat,cylindrical etc. The weight of this device is 160 gm (ABS) approximately.
