1 引言
由于看近期一个工程事故涉及到机械式稳定土墙MSEW, 因此花了几个小时回顾了GeotechSet数据集, 产生出两个新的数据集:
(1) mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls
(2) Mechanically Stabilized Earth Walls
大多数文献称作Mechanically Stabilized Earth Walls, 简称MSEW. 在目前回顾的文献中, 下面这些文档对此作了较为详细的解释:

2 MSEW分析与设计
MSEW的分析和设计可以使用ADAMA Engineering Inc. 编制的MSEW(3.0) 软件. MSEW(3.0) 遵循着美国高速公路设计规范, 例如AASHTO98, AASHTO02/FHWA-NHI-00-043, AASHTO 2007-2010, or NCMA97/98等. 如果需要进行复杂的应力和应变分析, FLAC/FLAC3D的结构元提供了更强大的计算功能, 特别能够处理Geotextile和Geogrids单元. Geogrid数据集正在准备中.
