1 引言
朗金讲座(Rankine Lecture)是岩土工程领域最早设立的著名邀请讲座,由英国岩土工程协会[British Geotechnical Association (BGA)]举办。该讲座为了纪念格拉斯哥大学(Glasgow University)土木工程教授WJM Rankine对土力学和岩土工程作出的重大贡献---特别是挡土墙的土压力理论。朗金讲座设立于1961年,比太沙基讲座的设立早两年。太沙基讲座的部分学者也是朗金讲座的邀请者,根据统计共有14位,他们是:

第60届朗金讲座将于2022年3月16日在伦敦帝国学院(Imperial College London)举行,
